KIO QRO | 2

Offers a secure carrier-

neutral environment with

certified operations

Is one of the region’s most advanced facilities, designed for high-density, mission-critical and hyperscale workloads. It offers certified operations, concurrent maintainability and 24×7×365 monitoring in a fully carrier-neutral environment.

TECHNICAL PROFILE

Key technical

specifications

From local workloads to hyperscale global demands, KIO offers the right infrastructure for every stage of growth.

01-Design

Two-level facility with 3,120 m² of data halls delivered in three ramp-up phases, with north and south mechanical galleries.

02-Electrical

12 MW of total IT load through five 2 MW IT blocks plus two redundant catcher blocks. Expandable to 18 MW.

03-Redundancy

Concurrently maintainable electrical infrastructure with eight 3 MW generators. Electrical intake includes 6 MW Medium Voltage and 6 MW High Voltage. Cooling redundancy includes 30 chilled-water units with 2 redundant.

04-Power supply

Medium-voltage and high-voltage dual intake design.

05-Energy efficiency

Design PUE: 1.5 using chilled water, air-cooled chillers, free cooling and closed water loops.

06-Monitoring

Building Monitoring System (BMS) for full electromechanical supervision.

07-Fire protection

VESDA early detection and double-interlock preaction suppression.

08-Security

Five security checkpoints, 24×7×365 staffed security and 90-day video retention. Access control via proximity and mantraps.

connectivity

Provides diverse carriers,

redundant fiber paths and direct connection

to the KIO Data Centers

Carriers

Is fully carrier-neutral with diverse providers, redundant fiber routes and high-capacity interconnection through KIO’s regional network. External connectivity is also available through DE-CIX and other global partners.
